To manufacture our hydraulic components, we use reliable, durable, and long-lasting materials that ensure high performance even in the most demanding working conditions. For this reason, at Vivoil, we carefully select our partners, collaborate with companies that guarantee high quality standards, and most of our suppliers are located here in Italy.
High-quality materials for every component
For bodies, flanges, and bushings, we have chosen high-strength aluminum. However, for some types of Vivoil products, the flanges are also available in cast iron, a material better suited for applications requiring greater strength and durability. All our hydraulic products — pumps, motors, and flow dividers — are made with materials selected for their performance, which are also specified in the Vivoil catalogs.
7000 Series alloy for the component bodies
For the pump and motor bodies, bushings, and for the bodies, plates, and flanges, in flow dividers we use a thermally treated extruded profile made from 7000 Series alloy. This aluminum alloy offers excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance—ideal characteristics to withstand the many stresses our hydraulic products are subjected to.
Aluminum alloy for the base and the cover
The base and cover are made of die-cast aluminum alloy, thermally treated and sandblasted, offering high mechanical properties, or alternatively, they are made from thermally treated extruded 7000 Series alloy profiles.
Steel for the gears
For the gears, we use UNI 7846 steel, which ensures high mechanical strength and wear resistance.
Materials for the manufacture of seals and extruders
For the seals, we use different materials depending on the application requirements:
- NBR
- F 975 Viton (FKM), particularly suitable for high temperatures and demanding applications
We manufacture the extruders using high-quality plastics, such as virgin PTFE and High Performance polyamide.
We have chosen Made in Italy
The quality of materials is just one of the aspects that distinguish Vivoil. Another value we believe in is the connection to the local area and the Made in Italy production chain. Our components are manufactured, assembled, and tested in Italy, and the entire production takes place through collaboration with other Italian companies, with whom we have established solid and lasting relationships.
